FROM THE EAST

Greetings Brethren:

Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and you are ready to join us for the fun and work ahead.

On Saturday, January 24, 2009, St. Matthews will be having a Robert Burns Night.  Please bring your wife or significant other to a night of Scottish food and Scottish entertainment.  If you enjoy the pipes and love haggis it will be an evening you don’t want to miss.

I know it is hard for some of our brethren to make our meetings during the winter due to the cold and inclement weather. If you’d like to come to the meeting but do not have a ride, please call a fellow brother or myself and we will get you to the meeting. Our Senior Deacon has a goal to see all the seats of St. Matthew’s filled this year, let’s make this happen.

I would like to thank our breakfast crew for another job well done.  Also, many thanks to Bro. Dave LaPlante and Bro. Dan Fallon for a well planned Kids Santa Party.

                                                Fraternally,

                                                            Jim
