FROM THE SOUTHEAST

Congratulations to Wor. Charles E. "Bud" Crowninshield for receiving the Joseph Warren Medal at the September Regular Communication/Official Visitation.

Well earned, Bro. Bud.

FROM THE EAST

Brethren, as my term as Master comes to a close, I'd like to take this space to offer my sincere thanks to you, my brothers. As with every other Master who has preceded me, my term has had its ups and downs, and its particular share of challenges. I thank you for teaching me that harmony is indeed, the strength and support of our institution, and it is my sincere hope that we, as a Lodge, as Brothers, keep that principle lodged firmly within our hearts.

I'm particularly proud of the 12 new members who have been initiated into St. Matthew's Lodge since January. These men are the future of our Fraternity and our Lodge, and I'm excited to see them so readily seek an active role and involvement in our activities. I am truly honored to have participated in the beginning of your Masonic journey.

To the members of St. Matthew's Lodge, I thank you for your support throughout my term, being there as counsel when I needed sage advice, the tireless efforts of those who volunteered to take on tasks and responsibilities without being asked, and the invisible work I'm sure I don't even know about. I have been truly blessed to have been Master of St. Matthew's Lodge, and it has been my honor and privilege to serve you for the past year. For that, I humbly thank you.

       Fraternally,

   Tom
