FROM THE EAST

Brethren:

Summer is coming upon us. It is amazing how quickly the year goes by. I hope many of you can attend our June meeting as we will be having our traditional Past Master’s Night and will be raising our three newest members in the lodge.

Those of you who missed our May meeting, missed a very good evening. The District Deputy was in attendance to present the Joseph Warren Medal for Distinguished Service to Brother Bill Lilly. It was a great honor to be a part of that presentation. The District Deputy also presented the Master Mason Rookie Award to our Senior Deacon Brother Joe Spinale.

In the June meeting we will be nominating and electing the officers of the Lodge for the next term. Please be sure to attend to participate in the elections.

I would like to take this moment to thank Worshipful Bob Domingue, whose has served as our Secretary for nineteen years and has been an integral part in serving our Lodge. He is truly the Master’s right hand. Wor. Bob has announced his retirement from the Secretary position and we will be seeking his replacement in the June elections. Wor. Bob’s shoes will be hard to replace but there is a time for every season and the Lodge will move forward. Thank you, Bob, for your many years of dedication and service to our Lodge.

Lastly, I hope you all have a fun, rewarding, and safe summer.

                                                                     Fraternally,

                                                                        Jim
